Acting for International Finance Corporation, US International Development Finance Corporation and local lenders in connection with the debt financing of equity investment in a 50MW wind power project of Tenaga Generasi Limited, a subsidiary of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited, located in Sindh.
Acting for Burj Capital on the execution of a power project in Sri Lanka, which included drafting a power purchase agreement entered into by Burj Capital and a Sri Lankan power purchaser.
Acting for Green Climate Fund, a multilateral fund established under the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, on its Funded Activity Agreement with JS Bank Limited for financing the purchase of renewable energy equipment in Pakistan.
Acting for Uch Power Limited (Pakistan’s largest IPP under the Government of Pakistan’s 1994 Power Policy) and its sponsor, International Power GDF Suez, in respect of a 400 MW expansion of the company’s low BTU gas-fired project in Balochistan.

Acting for a consortium of Pakistani banks led by MCB Bank Limited in the project financing of the 50 MW Wind Power Project by Fauji Fertilisers Company Energy Limited.
Acting for the National Bank of Pakistan as the Intercreditor Agent and Security Trustee in a US$ 750 million multi-currency and multi-facility financing for the fertiliser expansion project for Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited.
Acting for Askari Bank Limited as the lead arranger in connection with a syndicated US$ 125.5 million standby letter of credit facility on behalf of Northern Power Generation Company Limited for a rental power project in Faisalabad.
Acting for the International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, and Korean Export Import Bank in connection with the financing of the 150 MW Patrind Hydropower Project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Acting for the Export Credits Guarantee Department of the UK in connection with the financing of ICI Pakistan Limited’s Pure Terephthalic Acid Plant in Pakistan.
Acting for Overseas Private Investment Corporation in connection with its financing of the 50 MW Sapphire Power, 50 MW Jhimpir Power, and 49.7 MW Hawa Energy wind power projects.
Acting as Pakistan counsel for the lenders in the 131 MW Kohinoor Power, 136 MW Gul Ahmed Power, and 117 MW Southern (Raiwind) Power oil-fired power projects.
Acting as local counsel for the lenders in connection with the 873 MW Suki Kinari hydel power project.
Acting as local counsel for the lenders in connection with the financing of the 720 MW Karot hydel power project.
