Introduction

Salman Talibuddin heads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice. He has over three decades of experience acting in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, with a strong focus on commercial litigation and arbitration. Salman has regularly acted in major and complex disputes including international commercial arbitrations, most notably in the energy and natural resources, aviation, banking and finance, construction and engineering, and telecommunications sectors. He also acts as an arbitrator in commercial arbitration matters and is on the panel of arbitrators of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the Asian International Arbitration Centre (formerly the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration).
Salman is highly regarded and sought after for his rigorously thorough practice and dispute resolution skills. He has consistently been recognised as a market-leading lawyer for Dispute Resolution in Pakistan (Asia Law).
Salman Talibuddin has remained a former judge of the High Court of Sindh at Karachi. He has also served as Additional Attorney General for Pakistan based at Karachi from May 2014 to September 2018 and as Advocate General Sindh from September 2018 to June 2022.
